Start with layers
Mountain weather changes quickly. A base layer, an insulating mid layer and a waterproof outer shell will cover most conditions.
Rain gear is not optional
Pack waterproof over-trousers, glove covers and boot covers.
Documents
Carry originals and copies of your licence, registration and ID, plus any permits.
